Magical Health
Day 4: Magical Health
Our health is what helps us live a better life. Without it we have nothing. Yet, we never think about our health until we don't feel well or there is something wrong. Our health is such a beautiful gift. But to have health and to be grateful for it is even more of a gift! Our thoughts are very powerful. When you realize that your thoughts create your future, you will be more careful to choose them more wisely. There is a story I heard a few years ago...Where there were two women about the same age, who had the same disease. One complained. She talked about how sick she was to anyone who would listen. She thought about how unfair it was that she was so sick and others around her were well. She was angry at the world and had fearful and depressing thoughts...The other was optimistic yet, still in pain. She spoke words of healing, being well and visualized herself overcoming her disease. The one that complained died 1 year later. The one that was optimistic, recovered and has been well for over 10 years now! So as you see - Our thoughts do matter!
The more positive you are about your current health, the more optimistic you will be about your future health. Scientists have done studies linking stress, anxiety and depression to many illnesses. And the studies also showed that the people that were more grateful healed quicker than those who were not. Even if you do not believe that your thoughts create your future, why would you want to risk it? Being more optimistic is a better way to live, no matter if you believe that The Law Of Attraction works or does not work. Choosing to sit in the darkness, instead of standing up and walking out into the light baffles and confuses me. You are such a rare and beautiful gift. You should always cherish yourself and your health until your last breath. If you are currently sick you should make it a point to really focus on all the good things in your life. To celebrate the parts about you that are not sick. And visualize yourself completely and fully healed. Making sure to FEEL the feeling of your visualized health. Feeling is the key to making The Law Of Attraction work more in your life! It truly is magical when you finally experience The Law Of Attraction working for you!
Today you will celebrate your health. In the book the author, Rhonda Byrne asks you to think about different parts of your body (inside and out). And then asks you to close your eyes and say thank you for each body part or body function. Example...she asks you to think about your legs and feet. They help you to get around and do so many things. You are able to walk wherever you need to go without any help or assistance. You can exercise, dance, climb the stairs and operate your vehicle. You can walk around and explore the world so easily with your legs and feet. What a freedom we have because of our legs and feet! Yet, the only things that we think about are what our legs and feet are not. They are either, too short, too long, too fat or just plain ugly. When was the last time you said something nice about your legs and feet? I think it is time to start to appreciate what they are - They are a gift of freedom and you are so blessed to have them! When you stop and realize that, you will look at them differently. It is time to love yourself and cherish what you do have. And stop wishing for something different or using negative words to describe yourself. You can always add in exercise to get your body into shape. BUT there should never be any complaining and negativity about what you were born with. YOU ARE BLESSED!
If you have the book, read through each paragraph and close your eyes and say thank you for each of your body parts. Making sure to FEEL the feeling of gratitude as you say the words thank you!!!
I added more to the list that she had provided in her book. I wanted to celebrate every part of my body and my health. It changed my thoughts about myself and it made me fall in love with myself more (not in a conceited way). The things I hated most about myself, I focused and gave as much gratitude for them as I could. I can say I love my big feet and even my scar that I have from a car accident when I was a teenager. That scar is a reminder of how blessed I was to live through it and that I did not lose an eye that night. The glass grazed my eye and I am so blessed to have my sight! That accident also taught me not to be so vain. So take some time and think about how blessed you are and thank yourself for all that you have!
After you are done with that challenge. Take a piece of paper or a card and write..."The gift of health is keeping me alive!" on the piece of paper. Put it in a place where you will see it through out the day. Each time you see it you will slowly say it, one word at a time and FEEL as much love and appreciation as you can while reading it! You should do it at least 4 times during the day! I changed mine up. I wrote, "The gift of health is keeping US alive!" I wanted to add my family's health to this challenge, as well. I actually wrote mine on my bathroom mirror with a dry erase marker and left it for about a week. :)
You will write your daily 10 "Count Your Blessings" list and write your "Magical Rock" moment from last night, as well! Tomorrow we are talking about MAGICAL MONEY!!! If you have any questions, comments or suggestions email me @ ascreaminggoodlife@gmail.com!

I realized that she has a lot of love...what she needs is structure and guidance to be the dog I know she will be.
5.) I am thankful for my best friend, Shannon. She has been there through so many life changes and events. She believes in me and all my passions. She has seen me grow into who I am today. 7.) I am thankful for my sister, Katy. She loves me so much and believes in me. She calls in a lot to see how I am doing. When I was in the hospital, she called me and made sure I was okay. 9.) I am thankful for my sister, Cass. She is beautiful inside and out. She reminds me of our Mama. She loves our family and is always making sure we are okay. She loves dogs as much as I do. I can always call her for advice and wisdom. She and I went through a time where we were both ill at the same time. We talked a lot about healing and finding ways to feel better. She would send me her supplements even when she was running low. Selfless. :( I want her to know that she means the world to me and this family. I am thankful that she is in remission!
10.) I thankful for my brother, Charlie. He is so talented and artistic. He always tries new and adventurous things. I look up to him for that. I am thankful he has a great occupation and he loves what he does. His love of music is beautiful and I love that he has stuck with singing all these years. It brings him joy and happiness. I am thankful that he is a leader and that he chooses to walk this world to the beat of his own drum!
My Magical Rock moment for yesterday? Well, I had to pick two...I know, I know. It is cheating. I could not choose. 1.) The first was when I did my relationship challenge yesterday and wrote 5 things I was thankful for each person I chose. I chose my three sons. I am so thankful they are such wonderful human beings! (My last challenge I chose my hubby, my mother in law and my middle son...I strongly encourage that you do this more than once! I plan on doing three more today!) 2.) I read all the lists that everyone posts and sends me (publicly and privately). I found this gratitude on my second cousin's list..."I am grateful for Meme. I have not met my dearest cousin yet but she, too, makes me feel so special just like she does to each and every one of us. She is the most kind hearted, genuine, caring and honest person I have ever known. In times of need or worry, she is there to help and advise. She makes me feel at peace by how calm and positive she is. She makes me think twice about being negative and makes me see the beauty and the light in things I didn't before. Thank you so much Meme for getting us all involved in this challenge. I love you so much!"~~~It touched me very deeply and inspired me! I love you, Sophie!!!
DeleteAnd my hubby's best moment? It was when I sent him a text saying all the reasons that I am thankful for him!!!

10. I am thankful for art. I love creating it and observing it. All forms. The world is God’s canvas.
